Marie has been volunteering at TEAD for two years, starting just before she retired from a decades-long career in magazines, television and radio.
The opportunity to indulge in her lifelong passion for horses originally brought her here, but she quickly came to appreciate TEAD as an entire community.
Along with the horses--of course--the riders, their families, the staff and other volunteers work together to make TEAD a very special place.
Lately Marie has taken advantage of the opportunity to take riding lessons once again.
Besides TEAD, Marie is on the board of Literacy South Halton, an organization that helps adult learners develop literacy skills. She's also active with Halton Master Gardeners and the Bruce Trail Conservancy.
From the staff- Thank you Marie for your continuous support and commitment to T.E.A.D. You always do your best to come and help out whenever we are short! We appreciate everything that you do around here!
