Our HISTORY
Since 1978, TEAD Therapeutic Riding Centre has been supporting children, youth, and adults with disabilities through equine-assisted programs that foster confidence, connection, and independence.
TEAD has continued to evolve in response to the needs of those we serve while remaining grounded in the values that have shaped us from the beginning: care, inclusivity, excellence, and community.
Our Herd
At the heart of TEAD is a remarkable herd of horses, each with their own unique personality, temperament, and story. More than just part of our programs, these horses are trusted partners who help create meaningful connections, build confidence, and support growth in every individual we serve.
Our TEAM
Behind every TEAD program is a dedicated team of instructors, staff, volunteers, and equine partners who bring care, experience, and heart to everything we do.
Together, we create a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment where participants can build confidence, develop new skills, and experience the meaningful connection that happens through working with horses.

TEAD is guided by a dedicated Board of Directors who provide strategic leadership, governance, and oversight in support of our mission.
