Nature-Based OT with Emma Curtis

TEAD is excited to partner with registered occupational therapist, Emma Curtis, to offer nature-based occupational therapy services at TEAD.  Emma has clinical experience in community-based, out-patient, and school-based occupational therapy with children ranging from preschool to secondary school.  She offers both individual and group occupational therapy sessions

Utilizing the therapeutic benefits of nature and the outdoors, Emma’s focus is in supporting children and families to meet their goals, including (but not limited to):

  • fine & gross motor skills
  • participation in activities of daily living (self-care)
  • participation at school
  • sensory-based support and executive functioning
  • emotional regulation skill building
  • social skills
  • life skills
