As the Board of Director – Treasurer, Christina also serves as part of the Strategic Planning Committee within T.E.A.D., as well as manages the Board’s review of, and activities related to, the Board’s financial responsibilities. Christina is an experienced Chartered Professional Accountant who has worked in public accounting for over 17 years. Thirteen of her years was as a Senior Accounting Manager in a mid-sized local accounting firm. After starting her family in 2011, she has since started her own private practice servicing small businesses and individuals in Hamilton and GTA. She has experience in assisting businesses overcome obstacles and meet there potentials to grow into thriving businesses as well as help maintain small businesses with consistent operations. Christina has knowledge and background with horses, as she grew up most of her childhood and teenage years on a 50 acre farm outside the town of Listowel, Ontario where her family owned horses.
