November 2018

I started to volunteer with TEAD after seeing an advertisement in the Spectator looking for people to help with the program when they were reopening in 2016.

I had retired from a demanding field sales position with a large payment processing company and having always been a high energy person and having a love of horses, this seemed to be the perfect fit.

We moved to Stoney Creek from Mississauga after retiring and I love gardening, cooking, hiking, kayaking and when I feel the need to sit, play the piano.

Volunteering at TEAD has been and continues to be very rewarding for me. The parents, caregivers, volunteers and staff are all unbelievable individuals dedicated to helping those who get so much enjoyment and physical benefits from riding. Just to see the improvement in the riders from when they first are on a horse is such a gratifying experience.

I hope to be part of this amazing organization as long as I can.
