February 2019

I’ve been with TEAD for almost 2 years now.

I was told about TEAD by a friend who loves horses and thought it would be good fit for me to volunteer.

I volunteer at the Cancer Assistance program as well at Good Shepherd.

I like to hike in the woods. I love the genuine affection that all you give to the horses, cats and dog. I love the space of acceptance you give.

Volunteering is a calling to give back when being fortunate is not enough. Also, it makes me feel good about myself and others.

Most importantly is the love you give to the participants that enjoy riding horses and being accepted for who they are by all.

From the staff and horses: Thank you for coming out this winter and being such a huge help. Even on the coldest days you are always willing to give a helping hand.
