Removing the Saddle
At TEAD, we know the benefits our horses provide surpass those of riding. Horses are one of the largest domestic prey animals and provide an opportunity for us to interact with a physically powerful, yet incredibly sensitive, receptive, and accepting animal. Through these interactions we build connections, trust and long-lasting friendships.
TEAD offers several Wellness Programs throughout the year. Some are completely unmounted, while others offer opportunities to ride towards the end of the program. See what is available today.
Important Notes
- Participants must pay a $15 Annual Rider Registration fee in addition to Wellness Program fees. In some cases, a $45 assessment may also be required before a program begins.
- There is a weight limit of 170 lbs in place for all mounted programming.
- Any participants that have a disability who wish to take part in any mounted programming must follow our New Rider Application process.
